What is the enrollment fee?
It is a one-time fee of $150 ($500 value) to update your patient records so we can provide you with your custom-fit retainers.
Will I receive anything else with my retainers?
A new retainer case and squisheez will be sent with each shipment.
When will I receive my retainers?
Our subscription plan retainers ship quarterly—February, May, August and November.
Where do you ship and does it cost extra?
Shipping is included and available throughout the United States. Additional fees apply for international shipping. Please inquire.
What if I move or relocate?
You will receive an order confirmation email prior to each shipment to confirm your address. If your address has changed, you will have the opportunity to update it then.
Once I’m in the program, do I need to inform you if I get new dental work?
Yes! To ensure that your future retainers will fit correctly, we do need to scan your teeth after any major dental work. Major dental work would include: crowns, veneers, bridge, implant, composite build-up, extensive fillings, or anytime your retainers stop fitting. There will be a $75 fee to rescan your teeth.
I haven’t worn my retainer for years. What do I do?
That’s okay, life happens! We do need to see you in person to assess your teeth and give our best recommendation. Schedule an in-office appointment
Do I need to come for an in-office appointment?
If you’ve been wearing your retainers consistently, they fit properly, and you haven’t had any major dental work, then no appointment is needed. Otherwise, we need to update your records in office. Schedule an in-office appointment
Once I’m in the program, do I need to inform you if I get new dental work done?
Yes! To ensure your future retainers fit properly, we need to scan your teeth after any major dental work including crowns, veneers, bridges, implants, composite build ups, extensive fillings, or anytime your retainers no longer fit. There will be a $75 rescan fee to update your records.
Can I refer a friend or family member?
Our Ortho Protection Plan is offered exclusively to patients that are in, or have completed, treatment with Kim Orthodontics.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes! You may cancel your subscription at any time. You will receive a confirmation email prior to each shipment, allowing you time to cancel before it ships.
I’ve had dental work done and my current retainers no longer fit. What should I do?
Schedule an in-office appointment to update your records and get our best recommendation on how to proceed.
How can I update my credit card on file?
Call our office at 808-941-9888 to update any financial information.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged when your subscription auto-renews once a year.
